Bonnie Lucas is a New York City based artist and educator. She was also a union activist while working as an adjunct art professor at City College, CUNY in New York City.
Born in Syracuse, NY, she attended Wellesley College, majoring in Art History and earned a MFA from Rutgers University. Lucas creates art focused on feminine themes: domesticity, identity, and childhood. She dismantles feminine objects and reassembles them to new configurations of art.
