Jessica Frances Grégoire Lancaster (b. 1991, Detroit, MI) is a French Canadian American painter who lives and works in New York, NY. She holds a BFA in Fine Art Photography from the Corcoran College of Art + Design (2013) and an MFA in Studio Art from New York University (2018). She has participated in multiple group exhibitions, including XL Catlin Art Prize (2018), juried by curators from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum, MoMA, and Gagosian Gallery, in addition to Art Olympia at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art (2019). Her solo exhibitions include SPRING/BREAK Art Show (2020), FLXST Contemporary (2021), Commercial_ Gallery (2022), and Trotter & Sholer (2024). She has attended residencies at the School of Visual Arts (2019) and the Studios of Key West (2019). She has been awarded fellowships at The National Arts Club (2022-2023) and the Vermont Studio Center (2025). She has served as adjunct faculty at New York University and has appeared in The Washington Post (2013), GQ (2019), New American Paintings (2020), New York Magazine (2023), Harper’s Magazine (2024), and The Globe and Mail (2024).
