Bernie Kaminski (b. 1966) is a New York City–based artist and television producer. His work transforms mundane, often overlooked items into playful, nostalgic sculptures. He discovered the medium in 2016, inspired by a seahorse his daughter made in a school art project. That led him to craft a papier‑mâché basketball—and his creative journey took off from there. Kaminski’s work encourages pondering of the intimate possessions that constitute our day-to-day and the culture they represent.
