The contemporary art fair with a unique profit-sharing model, Future Fair, has been a relatively new addition to the New York art fair scene. However, with the ethos of community and shared camaraderie, it has become one of the most anticipated events among collectors and art lovers alike.

Returning for its third edition, Future Fair 2023 will again take place at Chelsea Industrial. The expansive location of 28,000 square feet will welcome over 50 local, national, and international exhibitors, presenting compelling curated and solo projects.

"Opening this coming May, the third edition of Future Fair will host exhibitors from 19 countries, showcasing artistic voices from every corner of the globe. With 22 solos, 8 two-person showcases and a curated offering of group shows, the fair is a definitive snapshot of what contemporary painting is today," said Rebeca Laliberte, Future Fair Co-Founder.

For the third edition, the exhibitors come from five continents, with 19 galleries from Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Peru, South Africa, South Korea, and the United Kingdom, and 18 from New York. The returning participants include Asya Geisberg Gallery5-50 GalleryTrotter&Sholer, and Massey Klein, among others.

The selection's global reach proves the strength and resilience of New York's art market and its recognition by international dealers, despite global shifts and inflation.

"We have seen firsthand how a viable exhibition platform in New York City can positively influence the trajectory of an international gallery and the careers of their artists. Coupled with the community of Future Fair's exhibitors, the potential of these opportunities underscores New York's continued strength as a global art center," explains Laliberte.

The selection features young and emerging dealers as well as galleries with over ten years of experience.

The list of young galleries includes Superposition (New York, Los Angeles, Miami), superzoom (Paris), Good Naked Gallery (New York), TURLEY GALLERY (Hudson), and Everyday Gallery (Antwerp), presenting in context with established dealers Huxley-Parlour (London), Monya Rowe (New York), Patrick Mikhail (Montréal), Steve Turner Gallery (Los Angeles), Galerie Nicolas Robert (Montréal & Toronto), Johansson Projects (Oakland) and Romer Young (San Francisco), among others.
